The right steps
"The Deloitte Academy: Accounting Edition is a signature workshop series that introduces high school students to careers in accounting. Deloitte is committed to collaborating with high schools, colleges, state CPA societies, and various non-profits to bring accounting to life for thousands of historically underrepresented and underserved youth across the country. Deloitte Academy is Deloitte's national mentoring program for high school students, created and supported by Deloitte's Corporate Citizenship office."

Finding future leaders
"It is critical that we focus on recruiting talented people as we meet our Accelerate 2025 ambitions. This year, we expanded our KPMG Master of Accounting with Data and Analytics engagements to include more HBCUs. This effort helps close the gap between academic preparation and accounting career readiness through grants to universities that use our established criteria to award scholarships to underrepresented individuals."
Scott Flynn, Vice Chair, KPMG
“Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is foundational to KPMG's purpose, values and strategy. To achieve our growth and trust ambitions, we must unlock the power of our people.”
